Andrea Hardaker is what her granny would call a bletherin skite. She loves stories both real and imagined and has worked with words all her life.
Although she yearns for her homeland, Scotland, she lives in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, which she finds a little on the posh side for her liking.
She mainly writes fiction for young adults (having never fully recovered from her teenage years).
Her novel in perpetual progress, When Mad Dog’s Bite, is based on those teenage years (but please don’t tell her mum what she got up to).
