Coming to a Theatre Near You


Female, 30-something, pale and wide-eyed, waving a smartphone:

Help me! I don’t know where I am.

She’s in shock.

Where do you want to get to? The bus stop is over there.

No. My phone is dead.

Sorry, wrong generation, only 3G.

She wanders off.

Brain charging became obsolete when I was her age.

A modern tragedy.
